Video Interface 1

An installation-object that captures and display short video footages. Video Interface 1 is the first piece of a series of objects, where the user can use the interface to create spaces through manipulation of live recorded digital video. The work is made of a empty box, from the outside there’s a LCD display and a looping video is automatically recorded when something is inserted in the box. The video starts to loop immediately after the removal of the object. As a result the object is captured and will be reproduced indefinitely. The video here shows the first piece of the series, shown in a exhibit InterArte 2010 in Rio de Janeiro.
